CP COMMUNING - Vernal Equinox 2025

A seasonal virtual gathering hosted by Cultivating Place fostering community connections to engage, encourage & empower Gardeners.

On the cusp of Spring, we are so looking forward to our Vernal Equinox virtual gathering March 18th at 4 pm Pacific/7 pm Eastern! This time was chosen for this event in the hopes that teachers from all regions might be able to join us.

This gathering will led by Jennifer Jewell and Ben Futa, Guest Host of CP, with Abra Lee of Conquer the Soil & regular CP Guest Host, being our main speaker focusing on the prismatic topic of JOY - from all sides. The kick off talk will be followed by breakout sessions this time broken out by region to explore more deeply as a group this gathering's topic: Joy - what we mean by this concept, how it shows up, how it does not show up, how it helps, how it might not serve, and what all of this can add to the fertility of our gardening impulses and practices in place.

Once again we will end together and close by checking in on our previous intentions, and set or renew intentions for the season(s) ahead. As before, open dialogue and back and forth in the community will shape future CP: Communing gatherings.
